This post relates a whole lot to the Crosswalk post, but I actually started writing it before I ever received the Crosswalk email. It's long overdue, but I still wanted to post it.
The other day I put a cute outfit on Riley, but it was way too big on her. It's an adorable outfit, but she was swimming in it. When she grows into it, it will fit just right and I'll get to take some pretty pictures.
But not yet.
As I was taking the outfit off of her, God revealed another truth to me.
He said He was growing me, so that one day I will fit into the "cute outfits" He has prepared for me. If I don't go through the growing stage, the "outfit" will never look right on me. His message encouraged me to keep persevering and keep waiting on Him.
Just thought I'd share this in case any of my readers happen to be going through a growing stage too. Happy persevering!
