Our Sunday

The kids and I just got home from church. They're eating lunch right now. Then they'll go down for naps. When Josh gets home, he'll get back to work on the deck! Tonight I get to go babysit some sweet kids!

I'm so grateful to belong to a church that enables me to meet with God & be washed by Truth every Sunday. It is so rejuvenating - life-giving, as it should be. We're going through the book of John right now. So good. Last time I studied through this book verse by verse was when I got to be a part of The Austin Stone church plant. It's truly so neat to go through it again as I get to be a part of another awesome church plant.

This morning as we were taking Communion, I was awestruck by the thought that though all of us have such different struggles & different life experiences, we will all one day together (if we are children of God) worship Jesus to His face. Wow.
