One of the greatest things I'm learning on this journey called motherhood is to enjoy the little, mundane things (like laundry). I am constantly teaching the kids to "rejoice always," but am I living that out? Do I really believe that Christ's grace is sufficient for me (& for my joy) & do my actions show that I believe that?
Indeed, laundry is a sanctifying thing for me & I rarely do it with the right heart. But recently I saw a sign that says, "Laundry - Loads of Fun" and I decided I wanted to start living that out. Thus, the kids are playing in the laundry basket. I want them to see His light shining in all that I do - even laundry can be a blessing when you have Christ!
