Right now, Riley is really into...
1. The word "Uh-oh!"
2. Grapes, corn, carrots, green beans, granola bars, hot dogs, and cheese quesadillas. (Not all together - those are just her current favorite foods.)
3. Signing Time DVDs. (I highly recommend these for any family with toddlers, btw!) And she's really into signing, "I love you."
4. Books, books, and more books (specifically, Global Babies, Brown Bear, Goodnight Moon, The Big Picture Story Bible, her Numbers book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and probably many more I'm forgetting at the moment) We went to the library not too long ago and she was truly overwhelmed by all the books. She just kept saying, "Boo!" and pointing and smiling.
5. Dancing. I think this is still her all-time favorite thing to do. And don't you know it makes this Momma's heart happy?! We twirl around together all day. Oh, the joy!
6. Praying. We're pretty sure she thinks "Amen" means "Give me food!" She says it pretty emphatically at the end of our prayers and then immediately dives into her food.
7. Chalk, especially drawing circles with the chalk.
8. Bubbles. Who doesn't love bubbles?!
9. Rainbows, suns, stars, ducks, sheep, horses, cows, hats, and of course her old favorites: babies, balls, dogs, trees, and shoes. These are all things she loves to point out to me whenever she sees them.
In other news, she is currently teething and she still doesn't like the vacuum cleaner. And although she has gotten much, much better about being around strangers, we still have some work to do in that department.
