Boy, is everything way easier with the second child! I spent days working on Riley's room (with help from some awesome people) before she was born. And yet, I (well, actually Josh - I didn't do anything) was done with Joshua's "room" within an hour. Here it is:

I can't get over how excited I am about it. Knowing what I know now, this just seems so convenient in regards to those those late night and early morning feedings. It's a pack 'n play that includes a bassinet (which vibrates and plays music) and a changing table (with storage for diapers & wipes).
We downsized our bed from a king to a queen so that it fits right next to where I sleep. And best of all, it's color scheme matches our house perfectly: blue, green, and brown. The blue matches our bedroom and when Joshua is old enough to sleep through the night, we'll take the bassinet out and put the pack 'n play in Riley's room, where the green will match her "meadow" theme. (Don't worry - we'll try to make the room a little more gender neutral when that time comes.)
Glory. It's the simple things that make me so happy.
Now we're ready and waiting for you to come into this world, little Joshua. It's fun to look at that bassinet and imagine a baby boy sleeping in it. I just can't wait for you to get here!
