Winter Wonderland

This week has been so fun, I don't even know how to put it into words.

Mini road trip with Becca on Tuesday.

Hanging out with Blom kiddos on Thursday.

Lots of reading, coffeeing, and cuddling in between.

And right now Josh and Jimmy are outside building an awning for our porch. Josh got to take a day off because he hadn't used up all of his 2008 paid holidays (and too many people are taking off around Christmas time). We've had so much fun spending time together as a family today. I just love it!

Of course, the highlight of the week was the snow. We had multiple snowball fights and built a snowman. It was incredible. Here are some pictures so that when I look back at this in the years to come, I'll actually believe that it snowed in Bryan, Texas. It was not all a dream.

Some of these were taken at youth on Wednesday night:

The snow was still there the next morning! This is a picture of the house across the street. Our snow was kinda melted because of the direction of the sun.

Our snowman stood for at least 24 hours. Way to go, Flakey!
