Dedication Day

Yesterday was Riley's dedication day at church.

Basically, we acknowledged that Riley is a gift from God and she belongs first and foremost to Him. Then we vowed to raise her in Christ.

And the neatest part of all was that our entire church family said they would help us keep that promise. They accepted responsibility to help us raise Riley in Christ. I love that I'm not doing this mother thing all by myself. We're one in Christ!

We got her all fancied up for the occasion. Here's our beauty queen:




We had to change bows. I can never get those clip-on ones to stay in her hair.


She's wearing socks that look like Mary Jane shoes. She's got way more fashion than her mother!
