The blog was in serious need of an update, so here it is.
First of all, I'm feeling much, much better and it seems that Josh and Riley were both spared of the infection. Praise God! And thank you for your prayers!
Secondly, I'm done with work (besides cleaning the church preschool) for about six weeks. Yippee!!! I got my students prepared for their finals last week and now I get to enjoy the wonderful college schedule of a super long winter break. Life is good.
Thirdly, we have tons of things going on right now. This time of year always gets crazy, but we love it!
We were invited to eight weddings all within the next three weeks. Yes, you read that correctly. Eight. I really wish we could attend all of them, but it's just not feasible. So to all of my friends getting married soon, we wish we could be there. We know they will all be beautiful ceremonies and we pray God's blessing on your marriages.
We also have lots of ministry opportunities coming up soon and we can't wait to get involved with what God is doing in Bryan.
Other than that, I've been Christmas decorating, Christmas crafting, and Christmas baking. Josh got to go hunting with his dad over the weekend. No luck with the deer, but I think they still had a good time.
