3/13/2010

March 13, 2010. I hope I never forget that day. It was just one of those wonderful, can't explain it, cup runneth over with joy days.

We came home from the hospital with Joshua on Thursday (I'll post pictures & tell the birth story later) and Riley joined us for the first time yesterday. The weather was amazing. We put on some music, sat outside, and just enjoyed being a family.

Truly, I wish we had a video recorder running, capturing the raw, crazy, and precious moments of our lives as a young family. Then, when I'm old and gray and I can't get around easily, I could sit and watch the videos and remember how much God has blessed me.

But since I don't have a video recorder, here are a few pictures from the day. Just so I never forget how truly blessed our family is.

We had a one year old a few days ago and now it seems we have a two year old. We can't get over how much bigger Riley looks after not seeing her for just two days! And for the record, she LOVES having a baby brother. She wants to help with everything. And she doesn't even get upset when he does his "pterodactyl" cry. She just covers her ears. So cute!

Keeping Joshua snuggly warm!

Chillin' in the hammock that Josh rigged between our tree and our car. It looks really ghetto, but we don't care. It's hammock weather!

Pointing out the trees.

Nap time for Dad & Baby. Snack time for Riley.
