Six Months (& Go Texan Day - Yeehaw!)

Riley turns six months old today. I can't believe it! I don't have any pictures at the moment, but I will try to write everything I can think of about my little girl at six months old.

1. She weighs 14 pounds and she's 26 inches long. This is on the smaller side, but the doc said she's growing wonderfully! Nothing to worry about at all.

2. She suddenly became super interested in food last week. I've been feeding her solids for almost a month now, but she didn't seem too interested in it until last week. Now she can't seem to get enough! I will introduce fruit next week, and then I'll get to start mixing things and making yummy creations for her to enjoy. However, she doesn't seem to care what she's eating (so far). I'm grateful she's not a picky eater!

3. She still loves playing in her exersaucer. I thought Josh's description of her in the exersaucer explained it quite nicely: "She's like a mad scientist working furiously in her lab."

4. She's not sitting up on her own yet. She still loves to use her legs as much as possible, always kicking or wanting to stand. She rolls and scoots around on the floor a lot!

5. She's not really a fan of change. (Ha, wonder where she got that???) She has to warm up to new people and new toys.

6. She still looks so much like her daddy. Some people disagree and say she's starting to look like me, but I think she's looking more and more like Josh every day.

7. She's finally laughing out loud! Her little giggle is adorable. She doesn't do it too often, but the times that she does are precious. You have to sorta get in her face and make some strange noises, and if you're lucky, she'll laugh at you. Strange sense of humor, I guess.

8. We do baby yoga (a video, not a class) almost daily and we LOVE it. She smiles the whole time and I get a nice little workout, too.

9. No teeth yet. Just for the record.

Ok, I think I got it all. If I think of something else, I'll add it when I post photos.
