Whew!

I can't believe July is almost over. We call July our "Celebration Month." We just have so much to celebrate during this month. There's July 4th, then Josh's birthday on July 16th, and finally our anniversary on July 28th. We celebrated three years yesterday!

This month was extra special b/c we also celebrated the wedding of our dear friends, Kevin and Ashley. That was a great weekend of being with old friends and making a few new ones. There was lots of laughter and mutual encouragement and just good plain fun. I was a little nervous about the wedding being at naptime, but I just put the kids down for early naps (at 11ish) and then they were fine and we got to stay until the very end (around 5ish I think). And their reception had this cute little kid's area with coloring books and puzzles. I was very grateful for that!

In other news, the kids have been awesome lately. Riley is totally potty-trained and Jack (as we're now calling him) is rolling over! They are both at such easy stages and we are enjoying life together in our humble little abode. Riley is really into coloring, going to the park, feeding ducks, watching Dora, learning new things every day, and playing with Jack. She is getting her last four teeth. Yay! Jack is into practicing his new trick (rolling over), laughing, and "sliming" those he loves.

Next week we are going to Ft. Worth for a couple days to visit family and I can't wait!!! It will be a much-needed getaway. Ok, that's all for now. I know this was super short, but I just wanted to give everyone a quick update.
