Riley's been so much fun lately. She smiles all of the time, especially at mom and dad. In fact, she seems to have developed a fear of strangers, but we're working on that.
She loves sitting in her recliner, also known as the bumbo seat.
She still kicks her legs more than any other baby I've ever seen. Sometimes I affectionately call her Thumper because she reminds me so much of the bunny on Bambi. It's funny to watch someone else try to change her diaper because you have to be pretty good at holding her legs down the whole time or you'll never get the diaper on her.
She's also cooing a lot! She makes the cutest little noises. Srangely, she's not laughing out loud yet. She makes a face that looks like she's laughing, but no sound comes out.
She has finally started to grab at toys. But she still seems to enjoy playing with her fingers more than toys.
Lastly, she still has a bald spot on the back of her head. The doctor said it's normal and it's from her head rubbing against the car seat. I guess it will grow in eventually.

Let me know when you are ready for baby food. I will show you how to make your own then freeze it in ice cube trays and then package up.
It is a ton cheaper and SO much better for them and then you just grab a couple of cubes and you are ready to go.
Plus it a lot of fun.
